Does it even need to be a reboot? It shouldn't be a franchise unless you're going to change a lot away from the original story, but then you might as well just have people be immortals living multiple lifetimes in an original setting.

I'd argue fossil motorcycles should be banned before fossil cars. If it's about riding with nothing between you and the ground, an electric MC will do plenty. Otherwise, cars serve the same need.
Fine the manufacturer for each incident with each vehicle and make them recall and fix every one to stop it. Unless it's the result of someone modifying their own vehicle, then you seize the vehicle and suspend their license.
A monopoly trying to lock in browsers isn't going to last in the EU.

It's sort of the Libertarian version of the Norwegian sovereign wealth fund, if public income can exist in Libertarianism. Give everyone cash now instead of having a public agency invest it for the future.
And yeah, it probably should be higher. Per person oil and gas income for the state of Norway was $24 000 last year (at the current exchange rate). Although I haven't checked per capita oil and gas extraction.
Spend all the money that's spent trying to find welfare cheats (and cost more than they could possibly save anyway) on basic income instead.
If we're not already on track to end fossil fuel consumption within the time it takes to build a nuclear reactor, then the nuclear reactor will help get there faster. And the current goals are 2050 or much later in some countries, we can and should move that closer in time by 10 years, and would still be able to use nuclear power to help with that.
And we'll still need power after getting rid of fossil fuels, too.
Still seems way overpriced. Doesn't even have name recognition anymore.
