I have not watched the show, but I have read the books. Kind of simple, young adult. It doesn't ask much of you, and didn't really leave a lasting impression. Great premise though. I also read Sand by Hugh Howey, and can't for the life of me remember any of it, whereas a lot of people seem to really love it, so maybe I am just the odd man out here.

The lifetime pass isn't bad, but I don't really have any nostalgia for the platforms that make up the bulk of Antstream's catalog, like the ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64, and Amiga.

This merger will never end will it?

Wireless transmission latency is good enough for pc players connecting to oculus headsets. Besides, if this is just a wishlist, I would hope that nintendo keeps traditional docking as well if you are playing a latency critical game or want to use a pro controller instead of the console itself as the controller.

I loved my wii u and was disappointed when the tablet screen didn't get used. If it was more successful (as the switch has been and hopefully how the switch 2 will be) then it probably would have been better utilized.

Wireless Dock for dual screen gaming. Make it easier to port those ds, 3ds, and wii u games. I love having inventory and maps more readily accessible.

Its going to be a hot one. No monsoon storms in the near future either. Stay cool out there.

It was the producer Eiji Aonuma who said that Breath of the Wild was the new template going forward. https://www.eurogamer.net/open-world-zelda-is-a-format-for-the-future-of-the-series-says-producer-eiji-aonuma

Maybe talk to an arborist or look up something online that is a native species for your region and climate.

I think they view it as ripping off the bandaid now before their IPO. They probably figured they would lose some single digit % of users that would recover over time, and now they will have full control over the experience with no 3rd party apps, which they will want in order to squeeze more money over time.

Just own it. Everyone is freaky about something. Let your freak flag fly.

I am going to skip LCD tvs altogether. Right now I am still using my first hd tv, a Plasma TV from 2008, and when I replace it, it will likely be with an OLED.

My friends and I played and enjoyed Heroes of Hammerwatch, so I would say odds are good that we will pick this up at some point.

Looking forward to Neon White, Sea of Stars, Another Crab's Treasure and some of the other games coming to gamepass soon. Come for the first party day one releases, stay for the stunning indies.

Who is ready for Fable?

Arizona isn't just cactus. There were all sorts of flowers in bloom this weekend in Coconino National Forest.

The Flagstaff city council and Gov. Hobbs are asking President Biden to create a national monument of a million acres around the Grand Canyon to protect it from mining.

Does anyone have any predictions for the xbox showcase this weekend? I have my fingers crossed for a Quake reveal from id.

A wet monsoon would be good to keep the whole state from catching on fire after a wet winter encouraged growth. That may not be in the cards though

Quest Master is a new game by Skydevilpalm and Julian Creutz looks like a Zelda Maker where you can design your own dungeons and then share them. Hopefully their sharing ability is a little more robust than what Nintendo did with Mario Maker. No release date yet, but apparently a demo is coming soon.

Italy is suggesting a location for the EU Einstein Telescope which will observe gravitational waves. The competing location right now is in Belgium. The arms are planned to be 10km, longer than LIGO's 4km arms.
