Doing ok: in-laws took the kids yesterday. My wife and I were able to take some pretty sweet naps.

We have been very lucky and fortunate to acquire the American dream. My wife and I wouldn't have been able to do it without the help of her family though. Every time I look at the housing market it's only gotten crazier.
I didn't go, I didn't see the point in it. People always ask if I regret not going: not even a little bit. I don't like dancing and thought the entire idea of it dumb to begin with. Also, I'd rather not go broke over one night like that. I did have a few friends go and they said they had fun, good for them. It's just not my thing.
A microwave/mini oven combo (or at least ours is). Despite the name, it actually takes quite a while to preheat.
I hear thermite is good at destroying things.
My wife and I were lucky enough to be able to purchase a home at a decent rate and then refinance a few years later to an even better rate (around 3.5%). We bought in 2019, when the world was still somewhat sane. The thought of trying to sell and get a new home at the higher rate makes me sick to my stomach and I feel bad for my brother-in-law.
When we redid our kitchen I demanded induction. We had a shitty electric stove before, but I love my induction. It's be hard for me to go back to anything else.
I use Windows 11 for work...it was the last nail in the coffin to make my new personal rig use Linux.
Probably a good thing I never heard back from them for my interview.
Frankly, I thought he did an unexpected rocket punch.
Depends on my laziness. I just bought parts for my new rig on Newegg. I was going to do microcenter, but they didn't have everything I wanted.
Become overwhelmed and do nothing. This was not a problem prior to having children though. In the before time I'd go train in martial arts, video games with friends, etc.
