The battery and hard drive are an easy upgrade. Linux runs great on it. A cheap one goes for $100 on eBay.

Keep in mind the 64GB is eMMC internal storage while the others (256,512) are NVMe SSD.

eMMC is considered more of an outdated storage option. You’ll probably stick a microSD in (if you only have 64GB) so maybe it’s a moot point.

Try super-gluing it! You can see how to align it by the hole/mark. Not that it should matter.

Make sure the surfaces are cleaned with isopropyl alcohol first, and use a think even layer of glue (a razor blade can smooth it out).
