I did a sky replacement exercise with this old photo from the aughts, but i don't like it now so i'm going to do another round of practice later... i think this was just using the paint bucket instead of dropping in a better sky...

someone asked about my Mockingbirds, they're here, & for once they do not rule the roost, yesterday i actually saw the Warblers "mob" one of them while hapless birb tries to steal warbler butter from the suet feeder...

not sure where they saw it, but if i saw it around here, i'd call it as Common Grackle
they do have that amount of brown but it's a play of light type of thing where most of the time they just look like an all-over black bird until the light is striking their plumage at the right angle
