That's your Android app that's broken. Lemmy is written in Rust, not Java, and fails in all sorts of other ways instead.

One thing I'm missing compared to Apollo in terms of gestures is that Apollo always kept track of the previous thread I had open and allowed me to go back to it by swiping from the right.

For example if I'm reading a comment thread, decide to go back to the feed but then change my mind or quickly want to read something again, I swipe left from the right side of the screen and I'm brought right back to the comments at exactly the same spot as before.

Might sound like a small thing but I was using it a lot.
