Not the same thing but I've been on a sunflower seed kick the past few weeks. Eating them most of the day while I'm working almost everyday.

Today I finished a bag and guess what I didn't do? Leave work, walk 2 miles in a thunderstorm and spend my last couple bucks on a bag of sunflower seeds.

At a low point I've walked around neighborhoods looking for ashtrays on porches to dig through and find an old stale cig with maybe a puff or two left. I would never dig through a trash can hoping for a few left over seeds.

I think anything can be addictiveto a degree but comparing ice cream to cigarettes, let alone heroin, is absolutely wild to me.

My wife was telling me a story about her friends friend, who lives in an HOA neighborhood and had a big tree that was rotting in their yard and was causing concern about it falling over. Apparently they went to the hoa for approval to cut it down and they said no for one reason or another, then started fining them for it. Then a while after they collected a good deal of money off the fines said they could cut it down but they had to use a specific company who happened to be owned by a relative of the head of the hoa and charged them a lot more than they should have.

This story was passed down the lane and I don't even know the couple, but it doesn't sound far fetched.

I may get a lot of hate for this, and I wouldn't say it was a huge disappointment because I actually really liked most of the movies but, Star Wars.

I thought they were great moviees, but when watching them after years of everyone telling me to and all the hype I was kind of disappointed even though I enjoyed watching them all. For me they just didn't live up to the hype I guess.

A room divider might be perfect if they have one. I'll have to check when we get there, thanks!

This is what we've done every other time we've traveled, but it's a work trip turned vacation, to somewhere that's apparently insanely expensive. So this single room hotel came out to be more than we would normally pay for a suite/2 bedroom cabin.

Work ended up covering a lot of it though so it works out

Yeah I'm hoping he's so tuckered out that he just falls right asleep. We have a lot of activities planned that I think he'll love.

Turning the TV on before he goes down is a good idea, it certainly beats my previous thought of keeping it muted with subtitles on.

The bathroom idea is great! I hadn't thought about that, the bathroom looks pretty big so we'll see if it can fit his pack and play.

Thanks!

Yeah he'll be in a pack and play, which he usually does well in

Having moved to jersey from a state where I could pump my own gas, the worst part about it is when it's 2am, there's an emergency and you're rushing to the hospital, only to notice you need gas, only to realize that the only station within 20 miles doesn't have anyone working that late, and while the pumps are there and functional, they're turned off so you're stuck there.

But above all that, Fuck comcast.

My wife and I started sleeping with separate blankets a while ago. I like to sleep with 2 heavy comforters even in the summer but my wife gets hot while she sleeps. A lot of the times we end up sharing a single blanket by morning but I don't think I could fall asleep like that.

Also I just realized while typing this that I do like weight on my body!

Professional but even if I wasn't I'd still be coding for fun. Since having my first child I haven't done many side projects but my day job satisfies most of my development passion.

I develop/maintain a mammoth of a Frankenstein application that used in the trucking/shipping industry. The main bones are built in perl/mysql but there's some PHP, Python, React, and for a reason no one knows, an ASP/C# portion.

I personally love the wide range of tickets and languages I get to mess around with. I'm currently taking elastic courses to get certified paid for by the company which has been great.
