I don't understand people that get upset and hostile at employees in these situations. When I go through self checkout I go in with expectations already set that it's very likely that at some point during the checkout process the machine is going to trigger an alarm and an employee will need to come over and override the alarm. It doesn't happen too often, but when it does my first reaction isn't to get all pissy and throw things at the cashier.

If you have no patience for this sort of thing, then go through the regular checkout. See if it takes longer going that route.

The first one I saw which is still my favorite is the collage-type one that you posted a few weeks back where you cut and pasted each individual piece of the picture together. That is a super unique looking style that I feel like I haven't really seen before. Really beautiful piece, I just love it!

I love your work! The watercolors you post here on Lemmy are worthy of an art gallery or illustrations in a children's book, really anywhere!! They need to be published in some form. Please tell me you are getting recognized for your work!

What exactly is the 20 second hug? Is it as straightforward as it sounds?

Whoopsies 😅

Am I doing Lemmy wrong? If I tap a pic from a post to go full screen, and can't seem to zoom in on it using the usual "pinch to zoom in/out" method. I'm a Lemmy noob, please enlighten me.

This is one of my favorites from the group. Brings me right back to the early 2000s.
