It'll require companies to disclose how they train their models, among other things... Final version isn't done yet.

That does sound pretty bad. Hopefully a new judge can be assigned.

This is exactly what I'd wanted for a while. I did get an M1 MacBook Pro 16" when it came out, but I didn't really need all the extra power; I just wanted a bigger screen.

This would be the sweet spot for me if I didn't already have a MBP.

While judges do a have a lot of power, they aren't necessarily beholden to the politicians who appoint them. Trump learned that the hard way already at the Supreme Court.

Don’t underestimate his way of lying and cheating out of anything. All it takes is one closeted MAGA cultist on that jury.

There’s always some telemetry. But there’s a fair amount they do to truly make telemetry anonymous.

It's a given that the next iPhone is USB C. Notice that the Vision Pro also uses USB C. And for extra evidence, take a look at this Unbox Therapy short where he shows us a mold of the new iPhone 14. You can clearly see a USB C Port.

Having said that, I may be in the minority on this, but I'll miss Lightning. It's just such a small, elegant connector. It doesn't have a "tongue" like USB C so it's easier to clean both the male and female ports. USB C is great and all, and I know it has more capabilities with more pins and everything, but man I've really liked Lightning.

I know it's trite to be an Apple fanboy on the Internet, but here I am!

Anyone else read Daring Fireball?
