I use vim macros all the time. For example, you have a bunch of lines that need the same 3 operations done:
"
at the beginning of the line",
at the end on the linePress qa
, do what you need to do on one line and go one line below, press q
again to stop recording the macro, then you can do it 50 times with 50@a
.
I'd build my own. More seriously, I'd use a mac, but would pester all day, like the few weeks I tried macOS at work before bringing my own computer.
Setting up my weird keyboard layout :

It really depends what kind of game you want to play.
If you want a fiction first game where the characters are a bunch of "freedom fighters" in an hostile environment, you could try either Spire or a|state, but you would need to heavily modify the settings. It would be a lot easier with a|state, which is a dystopian future hack of blades in the dark.
I love his skits.
Even though he tends to talk about games I have never played and don't really intend to play or run, I still watch his content, for the goofs.
Don't sleep on Pikmin 3 mission mode, it's quite challenging and fun, it's all about multitasking like a mad man.
I’m playing Pikmin 1 HD (I couldn't really wait for the physical edition as I had previously stated). I'm having a blast so far, played 6 days and got 10 spaceship pieces.
I remember being terrified of the time constraint in the game (30 days to get 30 pieces) when I first played it 20 years ago, but my experience with Pikmin 3 makes the game really much more manageable and enjoyable now. The Switch version, even if it's a simple HD port with some very minor tweaks, is really enjoyable.
Looking forward to starting Pikmin 2 HD, probably next week.
I'm playing Pikmin 1 HD on Switch, hopefully will finish it before the release of Pikmin 4.
Interesting. Kept it in my wallabag, if I ever grow tired of sway.
