What country are you in? Very different options sometimes.

What’s your budget? This is probably the biggest factor in answering your questions.

The AT-LP60X or AT-LP3BK are the cheapest turntables you can buy new or refurbished that are actual turntables and not junky plastic pretending to be audio equipment. Link: https://outlet.audio-technica.com/catalog/category/view/id/1115/?product_list_order=name

Do not buy a suitcase or retro-style player. They’re literally all the same cheap Chinese part that is just junk.

For double to ten times the price, you can get vintage turntables in decent condition that are much better equipment. Especially if you can find a place to go in and shop instead of ordering online. That said, I’ve had good experiences with Reverb and eBay (but it helps if you’re a shrewd buyer). I’ve heard lots of people get great gear from Facebook, etc.

Does Librewolf support multiple profiles like Firefox? If so that’s how I’ve always done it on Firefox. One Firefox install, multiple concurrent profiles. I even use Container Tabs on top of that.

“The -no-remote flag allows multiple firefox profiles to run at the same time.” https://askubuntu.com/questions/660147/how-can-i-use-two-firefox-profiles

I don't see the post anymore. I wonder if the user deleted it.

I wanted to say:

Beautiful. What amp and speakers are you using with it?

Not sure why, but I can't leave a comment on this post. The button turns to spinning arrows and never stop. Everything else works for me.

Anyone else able to comment?

Yeah, the PL-530 is so pretty I had to use it as the banner in this community.

And your Denon has the atomic space age style I like.

You should find out if your cousin has any mixes you can post.

It’s great there are decent modern options. For a few years, it seemed turntable manufacturing might cease completely.

Hi!

I mostly lurked in r/turntables but I learned so much.

My main turntable is a Technics SL-1500C that I got at an incredible because of a post on r/turntables about a Best Buy sale. Because of seeing how great a modern-made turntable can be, I fantasize about Technics releasing a new linear tracking player.

I have no goo reason for having it, but my dream is an SL-1210G.

If you saw my post on r/turntables and ended up here, take a moment to say "Hi" and let us know your current turntable or your dream turntable.

Please add to this with suggestions—especially for different parts of the world.

If you want to know how much you can sell your record player for, or if you're trying to find out if one you're considering buying is a good deal, make sure to use the "sold" filter when searching sites like Reverb and eBay. Make sure you search the exact model number.

There are so many listings for turntables that are way overpriced, that the "asking price" doesn't reflect the true value.

so quiet in here (self.turntables)

I'm glad to see the Vinyl communities have some posts, but I'm a bit sad I don't see any posters from r/turntables here yet. I'm pretty pessimistic about Reddit's future, but the r/turntables community is such a great public service. I'd say let's just all go to vinylengine, but I know it's hard to get an account there sometimes.
