System76 is plenty great. Not cheap, though. Thinkpads also have never let me down

There's a few billion devices in the world with emoji keyboards. We don't need pepe for that?
Dwarf fortress and RimWorld are both... Pretty ugly
I mean. Sure. That's all true. Gentrification, sanewashing, she was there omnipresently and represented a less curated version of the core community.
But damn. Don't talk to media. Definitely don't talk to media unprepared. DEFINITELY don't accept a media invite from an openly hostile media (which... Most of it is for anarchists) WITHOUT HAVING A LITERAL SCRIPT THAT YOU DO NOT DEVIATE FROM
You too, friend. Can you not create communities on other instances? I hadn't tried or thought about it. I guess that's a downside of a really small or self hosted instance
I get myself a nice little treat and take a break. I treat myself like someone else who I'd try to cheer up
But honestly - sounds like you need a lot more than that if you are feeling all tangled up. It's helpful to unwind it all. With friends, with a therapist, even just talking to a stranger on the bus (or the internet)
Oh that's what that is 😅 I have that a bunch - was hard to describe as it's not sleep paralysis. It's often.... confusing... and occasionally disturbing but I'm a bit used to it at this point. It is so weird how it persists until the lights come on
I sat bolt upright in the middle of the night one time talking to the wall, kinda grumpily, and my partner was really disturbed.... trying to explain to her that the customs officer wanted something didn't really help that much.
Seeing bed bugs all over my whole body and everywhere in a grungy motel was pretty disturbing. And a hooded man in the corner, staring, during the middle of the night in a new persons' bed.
For a while I cooked, now I work with computers. I travelled around, pre-covid with that job which was a good time.
Lots of stumbling. Thinking I liked something, learning things in life, try other things. Eventually I found something that I really liked.
I tried to replace sublime text / vim with it for a while. I liked it but it was really annoying that they'd brick it if I didn't immediately update when they pushed fixes. I imagine they won't be doing that anymore if it isn't public preview.
It was good, though.
