Sounds like you started counting at zero apples.

Just don't do yaml.

yq can translate yaml to json and in most cases json is still valid yaml

You know how you start hallucinating in a sensory deprivation situation? I feel a lot of UX people just aren't talking to users directly and thus we get whatever they hallucinate is a good design, disconnected from any actual user needs. Any user feedback only comes after they've made their mind up and is seen as the users being wrong, as the alternative is harder to deal with.

It's free so I can't really complain, but I can use KDE instead.

I feel this negative outlook isn't very healthy. Yes there are problems, as there have been at any point in history. That doesn't mean nothing good happens or can happen.

Go make some nice things happen to yourself or someone else.

You mean normal people start at 0 and non-programmers sometimes start at 1?

How many apples are you holding right now? Is it less than 1? How would you count that?

They've now moved on to "water isn't wet, it makes things wet".

I guess it's nice they want to be smart at least, even though their idea of smart is to copy some bit of pedantry they saw someone else do.

Or Hamas, if they had more power

Music recommendations are part of the core offering though and keeping play history is pretty vital for that. There might be local ways to do it but probably not as good

What helped me was the realisation that procrastrination was a loop of distracting myself to avoid feeling bad about not having done the thing yet.

It unlocked the ability to go "Does this actually need doing?" and if so "I feel bad about doing this and would like to escape it by doing something more fun right now, but that will make me feel worse later so I'll just do it now and accept feeling bad for a few moments while starting the task"

Some tasks don't actually need doing and then I can stop feeling bad about them

YMMV

The vehicle contained it all pretty well, with the main exit for force and fire was via the window between the trunk and the cabin

Engineered like a tank... but the tank is a T72

I rented a car at some point where you had to input the address letter by letter using a little scrollwheel kinda thing.

Smartphones have issues, but the map thing is a killer feature in itself.

No, let them clean up their own mess.

But perhaps stop awarding them government contracts until they do?
