If Christianity stopped people from being awful, history would look really different

In my eyes he's lost that privilege. When he dies I'll celebrate

Why honour the dishonourable?

Isn't that kind of necessary and what we did the last time? Add tariffs targeted towards products relevant to red states.

Ironically, that doesn't sound like a scientific rebuttal of the efficacy of CBT as much as a political argument

I guess I'm spoiled because I don't understand how this becomes an issue?

If someone leaves for parental leave (or quits) and you're now more understaffed, some less important things won't get done. It's kind of the company's problem to have the staff it needs. If you suddenly have to do two full jobs for one salary, you're kinda getting scammed.

There's probably history too, but in many cities in EU there's a lot of assumed roma beggars living in the streets, which means it's a pretty in-your-face practical issue to deal with every day.

White doesn't really have the same connotations in europe. There's sadly plenty of racism, but the skin tone isn't the main discriminator.

I used to sit next to someone like Hannah in an open plan office. She was lovely. Really happy and excited for her future.

You can't get more than 50% of popular support without compromise. The people who hate the democratic party to the point they'd rather organise a new party are A: too few and B: bad at compromising

But if you believe in it go for it.

Just make sure that you give up and endorse the democrats if you're polling lower than 50%, or you'll be an effective supporter of Trump
