That sounds very stressful, I hope your dog recovers quickly and that you're not too hard on yourself.

This happens to the most neat-freak dog owners too; dogs can find bad things to eat while on a walk, or by chewing something they shouldn't.

Being angry at past you also won't help future you or your dog. Figure out a way to improve things instead, preferably something that doesn't rely on you never making a mistake.

I don't know your situation, but perhaps you could have someone help you, or have friends over regularly so you're motivated to tidy up, or make part of your house dog safe and keep the mess contained?

Have you considered a life of crime?

You can acknowledge feelings while also managing them.

If you're in a bad situation and you could do something about it, you should of course, but that often requires you to manage your feelings.

Even suppressing your feelings might be ok for a bit, if it's what you need to fix the problem causing those feelings

He needs a short talking point blaming the fire on environmental protections, democrats and the right of California to regulate itself.

"it's not literal" could be you realising it doesn't make sense, in a context where you're supposed to believe in it.

What parts people take literally seems to vary a lot. I guess it allows everyone to make it say what they want it to say

oh look, it's someone who uses liberal as a slur, much like the trump people you align with

I hope you're happy with the Trump administration you helped elect. If you end up in a camp, you can impress everyone with your moral purity

You don't think some people who consider trying linux make a web search or ask a question somewhere only to get turned off by people immediately arguing about distros and calling them brain damaged?

Right now it's ubuntu that's the meme target, but there's always something like this. If everyone stopped using ubuntu tomorrow, the people who somehow get their self esteem from having a better distro will find something else to fuel that. They will never be happy

I'm happy if people use linux. I'm even happy if they use WSL or homebrew rather than plain windows or os x as it's a gateway drug, even though having windows in particular as a base system seems needlessly painful

Gives it a fallback to send surveillance data to samsung, even if you don't connect it to a network
