Musk doesn't need to sell his shares. The board just needs to fire him as CEO.

One who can't be rejected by that twit.

Multiply by the reciprocal to divide. Or judiciously divide in a modulus group to make the number bigger. Mathematicians have seen some shit.

Ah, that's why my pasta tasted so salty at lunch.

It was. I think I used CDE very briefly on some Sun workstations back around the kde 1.x times. But lowly undergrads mostly got ttys and not X terminals.

Yeah, that would work.

Is gnome claiming to be older than kde? 'cause it isn't. Gnome was started because decades ago, the license for the qt library used by kde wasn't quite open enough.

Ok, that's not ideal. Recent 3 and Y have the levers in fairly obvious places though, to the point that you have to explain to unfamiliar people to ignore them and press the little button instead.

I keep wondering what the cars could be if Musk hadn't hadn't gone off on the wild cybertruck goose chase or spent so much effort on self driving instead of driving.

He needs to be pushed out and not just because he's a lunatic. He's also incompetent.

There is zero chance that they'll just build from the latest main branch and release that tomorrow. Or that whatever build they make goes directly to general distribution.

They'll make a build from the last release plus this patch and send it to a few customers who have complained. Then they'll think about making a release with this and perhaps other bug fixes.

Not some gimmicky pos where you can’t even open the doors if the battery cuts out.

There is a mechanical lever that you can use if the power is out. Probably it was required by regulators, but it's there.

I'm sure that wasn't the deciding factor anyway.

Ranked choice or proportional representation of any sort. The election system us finely tuned to be the most divisive possible.

What is why what? There is no claim in the post you're responding to. Only questions.
