I bought a Lifetime Teton angler kayak last year and absolutely love it. Very stable and plenty of room for gear/poles. I can even fit my dog on the front. It looks like they run upwards of 500USD but I found mine on sale and they knocked off a damaged discount for a scratch on the bottom which brought it down to about $300. Keep an eye out for seasonal sales.
