This is the first time hearing someone call it bad, do you have any links explaining why it's bad compared to others?
There's a dungeons and dragons setting for your phone?
What would be a better layout? Only thing I can think of is colemak if you're programming with the semi colon. When I do that I just switch back to qwerty, typing speed doesn't really hold back my programming speed.
Ay another dvorak user!
Just for lemmy.world? I noticed it just stopped working on liftoff but beehaw is working.
Thanks, I hate it.
They used backticks in a way that wouldn't show code the first time, to show the backticks. Then used it properly the second time, and you can see in your screenshot that it did appear as code.
Australian here, we have the same culture but it doesn't finish at 12am, I found the Cinderella rule in the USA weird.
Same here. My partner was bed-bound recovering from a c-section, so I did all the nappy changes for the first few days. An older nurse came in while I was away having lunch on day 3, and as part of doing physical checks on our baby, needed mum to do a nappy change. Apparently she was absolutely shocked when my partner said she didn't know how because I had been doing them all! Later when we were visiting lactation consultants there was a clear generational line where the younger ones were happy I was there and helping, and the older ones either ignored me or were annoyed I was there.
At this point I'm not sure what features an app could bring to the table that aren't limited by work needed in the back end. Subscribing to communities in different instances being an exception I can think of.
When I would have a problem with my body like shoulder impingement and ask for advice, I would often be told by people "nah, you're too young too have that"
