Yeah, as a person who’s ordered dominoes more than I like you have to start a coupon before you order and it makes it significantly cheaper (specifically the $7 per item coupon previously mentioned).

Also, I highly recommend switching the pizza crust from hand tossed to pan. It’s always been a free change when I’ve done it and the pizza always comes out significantly better. If you’re optimizing it’s also more calories/dollar.

I used to love getting the dollar menu stuff from McDonald’s and idk if it’s that I turned 30 and suddenly started feeling grumpy about everything but I refuse to go there now that their prices are like this for a “value menu”.

I don’t deserve your kindness! Thank you for indulging my laziness.

I only wish for continued success in your testing

Can someone add the “I’m in this photo and I don’t like it” picture because that’s all I can feel from this.

This has been my first year (well ~9 months) streaming and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the diverse, amazing people I’ve met, the fun shenanigans we’ve had, and the supportive community that has slowly begun to form!

I didn’t really have any expectations back when I started but all of this was something I never imagined. I’m really excited for what the next year will bring.

I hope the rest of you out there are having the same experiences as I’ve had, and if not, I hope that myself and others here can help change that!

Looking forward to seeing all of your Twitch Recaps!

Thank you so much for the breakdown of all the different rooms! Really helps set some perspective for the variety of examples and how that can work! We definitely have some stuff we’ve accumulated but could never decide where they should go. I think I’ll have to take a weekend and just start putting stuff up here and there and see how we like it. The worst thing we’ve done so far is really not attempt anything so we don’t even know if we’d like something.

We have done some home renovation here and there so that’s always fine, except my spackle jobs aren’t always perfect! I think the hardest part for us is actually deciding which parts we care about the most. Obviously our family will take up part of it, but then we aren’t entirely sure about the rest. I think getting some plants is a great idea a lot of people are recommending. May need to do fake ones but still would be nice to add some color!

I do really enjoy geometric and abstract stuff so I’ll have to look into them, we really just want to give our home some more personality so it feels like home. We have some artwork but never know which room they really fit in since they’re all kind of different moods and aesthetics.

[–] kismattic 3 points 7 months ago

I’ll have to look that up! Would definitely love a guide for extra info/tips and inspiration. I think wall decor is our largest hurdle, along with making sure to keep clutter to a minimum. Having a toddler makes it difficult sometimes.

Yeah I agree with everything you’ve said! I’m super cautious before adopting any new pets. The only time I’d just get one is if I’m maybe adopting from a shelter to give an older cat a new home. My main concern is how they’d interact with our old lady cat because she can be a bit feisty!

Yeah we’ve picked up some pieces from craft fairs and sadly they’ve just been gathering dust because we could never decide where they “fit” best. I like more moody/atmospheric art so it’s not always the aesthetic we want in like the living room for example. Will definitely look into this more!

Hey everyone! Looking for any interior decorator aficionados out there. For as long as I can remember I've never been able to decorate spaces where I live and would love some advice!

I've been at my current home a few years and my living room is painted, but the walls are empty. We have some furniture (couch, entertainment center, key ring holder) and our TV but you really wouldn't be able to tell who lives there or what type of people we are. This is the case for all of our rooms.

Does anyone have or know of any guides/tips/suggestions for making a space feel more "lived-in" or "home-y"? I'm not sure where to start aside from family pictures, but then get stressed about messing up our walls or something "looking wrong" and having to redo/undo it all. Any way to get past that mindset as well is definitely welcome!

Any help is appreciated, thanks everyone!

Just really proud of this achievement after originally playing the games years ago and just barely scraping through!

If anyone else out there is trying to achieve this and having some struggles — you got this! I believe in you! Follow your dreams!

Twitch announced they have updated their Simulstreaming Guidelines to allowing simulstreaming to any other platform (YouTube, Kick, etc)!

Until now, Twitch affiliates and partners have been limited to only streaming on Twitch when live on Twitch. Meaning to stream to another platform you would have to end your stream on Twitch, then begin streaming to whatever other platform.

So now, with some caveats listed in the link below, you’re able to stream to all of the platforms simultaneously. This is great for small streamers wanting to reach a broader audience!

I’m still testing out the logistics for how to make this work but it’s awesome to see this happening when most companies have been becoming more and more limited!

New Guidelines here

Been streaming for about 7 months or so and have really been enjoying it! I’m always looking for ways to make it better but am having some trouble thinking of some interesting ways for viewers to use their channel points in larger amounts.

Right now I mostly have sound effects for cheap to let people stay engaged and participate throughout the stream. I don’t really have any larger point redeems aside from one for 3k to play without my glasses for a set time.

Any of you out there find any success with point redeems that aren’t just memes like 1 million points to end the stream?

Let me know if this isn't the right place to post it but kind of doing a go live notification? If this is wrong feel free to let me know!
