In my experience there are two kinds of pirates.
People like me, and presumably all the others on Lemmy who pirate as a 'fuck you' to shitty companies or people who make overpriced software. Or those who pirate as a free trial but eventually buy the software, or those who only pirate because they can't afford it.
And there's those that pirate because they just don't care. I assume they're the ones who are staying on Reddit, becausd they just don't care.
