This is my current conundrum. I was going to go in early anyway, but ...

Fuck it, you've convinced me. I need to have a tête-à-tête with another tech about following procedures with intent. Probably should be there first.

We may identify ourselves to others, but the idea of a "personal identity" is pretty masturbatory. Others identify us as they perceive us, and by our behaviour. I don't subscribe to the idea of appropriation of cultures being disrespectful, since anyone could learn from anyone. But I draw the line at "I am" something you're not.

Relating transracialism to transgenderism is more of an indictment of transgenderism than validation of anything.

For real? Kill la Kill, or whatever it's actually called.

And nowhere on most desirable the list was found "listening to her talk about her 45 minute grocery trip for 3 hours".

Holy fuck, that is irritating. I was still in bed. Leaving it for posterity. Thanks for pointing it out. Even more irritating, I said each "billion" is a group of six zeros. Technical definitions aside, should have been "million".

Oh. You're talking about kilowatts. They use kilowatts because they're trying to make it relatable to individual household usage.

Sometimes I wonder how often there are translation issues between languages, and this was a false positive in my brain, so I'll leave the original (edited) comment here:

In different language systems, "billion" means 1,000,000,000,000. What we call a billion, some call a thousand million. Each "billion" meaning a group of six zeros. Now Americans and other English speakers use"short" scale. French still uses "long" scale, as do other languages. So when they say "thousand billion," they probably are talking about what we English speakers call a quintillion: 1,000,000,000,000,000. (Checked a source, this is not a recent development)

I don't notice which hand they use, but more often than not, lefties will write with their hand curved over (and smudging) the text they just wrote instead of from beneath (and not smudging.) That's when I notice. So when I notice, I don't say, "You know you could prevent getting graphite (or ink) everywhere..." I say, "Ah. Leftie."

I have seen righties do the same weird smudging with the arced wrist. Why do people write like that?

I recently asked about having my coating re-applied, and the folks at the eye place had a warranty system, where if it came off inside of two years, they'd strip and re-coat the lenses. Might call them to find out if you're covered, or of they can tell you the stripping method.

Alcohol would, too. Further, avoid mineral spirits and petroleum based solvents entirely.

"OG" means "Original Gangster", like first of its kind.
