What anime is the pic from
That link is fuckin beautiful, no more new tab and search community!
EDIT: you still need to have subscribed to the community for it to work :l
From what I've seen it is basically a managed and updated feed of indexers that it keeps synced with you *arr apps. The *arr apps are the ones that do the searching based on whatever indexers they have imported from prowlarr. They use different criteria like media quality or profiles I think is what they are called.
Searching prowlarr itself would simply provide you with all results from the different indexers, you can filter results/queries if based on different things/tags but I tend to not use it directly myself.
I've found *arr wiki to be really useful when learning how to set things up correctly.
If doing a fresh server external, I'd go for debian as base(don't need to update it too often + stable)
For apps it's mostly docker-compose to set up portainer/nginx-proxy then from ther just manage the rest from portainer/nginx-proxy web-ui. ony log on the server for the occasional docker updates / pruning for space.
I see a lot of guys going the full kubernetes route and it's something I'm hoping to get into at some point but it seems like a lot to unpack for now.
Shh ๐คซ they might defederate us too if we say too much
Yep still get subscribe pending for lemmy.ml but lemmy.world is ready with the instant subs ๐๐พ
If you didn't misspell not I would have thought this was a gpt comment.
Did you start with arch or something ๐ sounds like you went through it lol
Thanks @[email protected],
Have subscribed to a few "magazines" from kbin. They are showing as pending but assume it just needs to do some syncing on my instance.
I think where I went wrong before was trying this with kbin.run and not kbin.social as they had the CloudFlare protection at the time.
This, or even better lock all posts and block new ones being generated to stop confusion. I read a post somewhere about how the defederated User's could take the leftover communities and use them as cesspools of .. culture
Is there a kbin community finder similar to lemmys? Everytime I check kbin it seems it's just an interface to Lemmy..
It's always the way, I've just found out about proxmox myself.. thinking my next rebuild will be some kind of proxmox kubernetes setup.
Good luck and get well soon ๐๐พ
