To be fair, I use my main google account and haven’t had any issues in over two years now. But I also use SmartTubeNext regularly, so I understand.

Same. It’s like $5 for 6 months if you use a VPN at checkout. At that price point, why not.
I’ve found that Target ships counterfeit items time to time, as well as shoddy returned items. Amazon does the same. I typically buy my electronics from Best Buy because i know they sort those items into Open Box deals instead.
A lot of Matter devices aren’t Thread, though, to be clear.
The only thing I dislike about Matter so far is that it doesn’t support Apple’s Adaptive Lighting feature. But it hopefully will someday. Until then, I tend to choose HomeKit-enabled devices.

Well that’s true. They’ve already torrented it for us. So there’s no need for us to actually torrent it again. No time spent waiting, no storage space necessary, no VPN’s- just instantaneous streaming to your TV. Too good to be true.
