This episode is by far my favorite for many reasons. It opposes the idea of people as property. It establishes Data as more than a quirky idea and firmly grounds him as a character. Also,something that I think is often avoided in discussions of this episode is that it shows Riker has an immense amount of loyalty and respect for Picard. He is willing to literally disassemble his friend in order to carry out his duty (even though it visibly upsets him). Even though a lot of the dialogue is poor (let's be honest here that is 90% of Trek), the overall writing is brilliant.

These videos are getting huge in size because I try for the best quality I can. Going forward, I'm not sure that any solution other than YouTube is going to work. If someone has a good and cheap answer - let me know.

I really like to post OC edits, but there seems to be absolutely no great solution. I don’t have the storage space or good internet to self-host PeerTube, catbox.moe seems to be hit or miss, uploading huge video files to an instance is just rude, and YouTube tries to deny the privacy of the viewer and uploader at every turn. I’m willing to pay for a solution that will work across all apps and platforms. Oh, and imgur has a length limit (that’s weird)

This has been a nightmare. Things that work for most don't work for some, and things that work for some almost work for others. Can't self host PeerTube because I don't have the space. If anyone has an answer that isn't YouTube PLEASE let me know. I'm willing to pay what I can. Also, if you're curious or annoyed - I need that 5 second buffer for YouTube to not scream copyrights at me. I hate that :(
