I live in Las Vegas. Everybody does this. If you want to actually merge you will force your way in. If you signal first you’ll get cut up by everybody including big rigs and miss your turn

So tired of this attitude

yeah, but you also have to factor in the other costs of ownership - insurance, registration, maintenance, parking, etc if you would need a second family vehicle in addition to the little pickup, as opposed to one big pickup for the job and family. There is a valid use case for both. Most of the folks you see in the one on the left aren't using it for a valid use case, but there are some that do. I'm not one of em, I drive a sedan, just sayin I get it.

I gladly wish a long and painful death on any human that exploits his fellow humans to get stupid rich. Not talking about folks that contribute to society and get paid for their job, like doctors/lawyers/etc. talking about the CEO’s, investment douchebags, basically the majority of the financial sector.

I wish those folks get superaids and die bleeding from their assholes screaming in agony

This isn’t a technological issue, it’s a human one

I totally agree with everything you said, and I know that it will never ever happen. Power is used to get more power. Those in power will never give it up, only seek more. They intentionally frame the narrative to make the more ignorant among us believe that the tech is the issue rather than the people that own the tech.

The only way out of this loop is for the working class to rise up and murder these cunts en masse

Viva la revolucion!

I think the point is that the new toaster at the grocery store costs a few bucks whereas to get the toaster with arcade tickets it costs SIGNIFICANTLY more cash for the toaster. I think it’s less poor folks and more just random crappy overpriced prizes

I made myself a wiki in my helpdesk system - I use osticket to send me various email alerts to so I can track issues I need to fix, and they have a little wiki option.

Then one day that host was down and I needed some info and I was very irritated. Now all of those notes are in my Apple notes backed up in iCloud and searchable on whatever I’ve got handy so if I need info I can get the info
