I would start with codecademy for a gentle intro and then move on to one of the books

I don’t think it’s cringe, or copying for that matter, I don’t see why transparency and blur should be seen as iOS exclusive. It’s the first Android UI I’ve seen that looked somewhat pleasant.

canned olives are disgusting. Real ones you get in the mediterranean are amazing. I also hate the green olives but LOVE kalamata olives

Why isn't this an app?

The main reason for this is that I wanted to create a voice assistant that is completely offline and doesn't require any internet connection. This is because I wanted to ensure that the user's privacy is protected and that the user's data is not being sent to any third party servers.

Weird reasoning, why constrain the assistant to pi’s power and memory when you can use it for interaction and utilize another, more powerful server at home

There’s so many personal devices one may need, but I don’t think they’re in a slump just because one product they released didn’t work. Apple Silicon has been pretty revolutionary and it was only a few years ago.

accused? Dozens of people in my immediate circle have been beaten. There’s a flood if video evidence. They’re acting like rabid dogs.

I set it up last month. I’ve rarely experienced had such a smooth setup process. Was putting it off for years because I had assumed I would need at least several hours. Right now I have one on a server and then every device syncs to it (thought it would be easy to set up backups that way)

Russian money is funneled differently, mostly directly through politicians or satellite businesses, not through ngo’s. And that money is for different purposes, it’s not aid for cultural exchange or human rights or marginalized groups or independent media organizations so the system does not apply. This bill is specifically to harass ngo’s and independent or opposition media. Even the host on main propaganda channel slipped up and straight up admitted that it’s to protect from “foreign influence” other than Russia.

Another important point for context is that majority (if not all) of independent observers on elections are (obviously) members of ngo’s. Georgian Dream must fear that their usual election fraud of 5-7% along with their abuse systems for forcing govmt employees’ and parole citizens’ votes (also somewhere in that range) is no longer enough to get the majority, and to commit even larger fraud, they need to have a reason for disqualifying all the independent observers.

Thousands? This is absolutely insulting, the estimations start at hundred and fifty thousand. Absolutely historic turnout, the march closed down several main avenues*. And the cover photos are shit, they don’t show how massive the crowd was

It’s called Russian law because it is from Russia (both content and the directive)
