I've been reading some more and I definitely want to give guix a spin. I guess that's the advantage of nix as a tool: you can always install alongside your distro's package manager if desired.
hyperreal
JetBrains Mono (and I use the Nerd Font version for most things)
Yep, this is just the scratchpad (i.e. drop-down/Quake terminal) feature from Sway. The windows are arranged purely for aesthetics here. But I do use the scratchpad heavily in daily usage. It's helpful to have a main terminal that can quickly be summoned on any workspace.
I'll have to give it a try. There are ways to get non-free software on guix? Is it just not officially part of the distro?
This is great! Would love to see this kind of customization work it's way client-side as well.
Looks great! How do you find guix as an OS overall?
I love it
Oh my mistake. Yeah, that print looks cleannn. Great work :)
I also like these cheap kailh choc keycaps. Realizing I prefer flat keycaps for choc switches. Maybe it's the longtime laptop user in me speaking.
Exactly, I wanted to go superwide without fully splitting. That and I actually wanted all that acreage of PCB uncluttered by ~~cruft~~ additional features.
Oh wow I didn't know you could do that. Thanks!
