Taking a family photo seems like it'd be within the spirit of the rule.

Staging it so the teens look sad is the second most likely scenario.

Most likely is they staged the photo and made up the discount caption for internet points.

A few ads should be easier to disable than a suite of nonsense baked into the core OS.

All this time and money wasted when all they need to do is implement a search comparable to "Everything" and the many will be happy.

People can't get it because everything is being marketed as AI.

The image resizer found in ms paint could be called "AI image resizer" and people would belive it.

They should put all the AI stuff behind a paywall so I don't have to look at it. That being said, if this "AI upscale" is any good, its a good use for the not actually AI tech.

Unfortunately, it isn't FOSS, and even has paid features.

If your model is 100% FOSS, no luck. If you dont care: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid

Location data is used for location based alarms. If I recall, in the free version, the ads were just a banner at the bottom, (nothing stupid like "watch video to snooze", although the rage would definitely wake you up).

The recent reviews seem low, not sure what that's about, I haven't had any issues on my pixel 5a, android 14. They also complain about no backup/restore despite it being the 4th item in the settings menu, so take that as you will. My guess is they didn't set it to unrestricted battery usage or display over other apps (to get it to appear when the screen is locked).

Looking at the logs, its only internet access has been google APIs If you're worried about it, get netgaurd and block all it from all WiFi/cell activity. I'm guessing it will only affect location and "the WiFi signal strength challage".

Am I the only one who doesn't use automatic updates for apps? I like to read the change logs, both out of mild curiosity, and to know if an app has a "major UI update"

Oh no, do not be mistaken. This is his reward.

Throw enough money at something and you'll get some satisfactory results.

Maybe not the first, but I'd want to make sure her music talent was part of the deal, otherwise its all downhill from here.

I love my alarm app, AMdroid.

Has all kinds of challenge things I don't use (but probably should), but I do use the post alarm function.

5 minutes after I dismiss the alarm, I'll get a notification asking if I'm awake. If I don't respond in another 5 mins, a louder more obnoxious alarm will go off. Its like having multiple alarms, but with out the need to set/disable all the extras.

Also each time I snooze, the time gets 2 minutes shorter. 10mins, 8, 6, 4, 2...
