If you are looking for hiking shoes with a zero drop, Altra makes them. Their trail runners and hiking shoes are all zero drop. They also have very wide toe boxes that accommodate wide forefoot. The Superior model are probably the lowest-price offering on that menu.
Altra also uses sex specific lasts (the forms that the shoes are built from) which are differently shaped for male and female feet, and waterproof as well as non-waterproof options, as opposed to many hiking boots which are only available in waterproof varieties.

I've had difficulties with responding or commenting on posts on federated servers. Comments work just fine if I'm on this instance, but threads on others it just never posts.
And "condescending" is also available to describe this behavior.

I don't hate gas stations, but I do hate people who don't know how to pull up to a fucking gas pump without completely cocking it up for everyone else!

My employer insists that only Windows is acceptable, which makes my life in software engineering very difficult. No Mac, no Linux, only WIndows. I had to fight tooth and nail to get anything else and now they are still trying to get me to go back to using Windows because "we don't support" anything else.
