So I've been running my own #Snac instance for the past week and I have to say that I'm actually loving it. It hardly takes up any resources and the inbuilt web interface is easily configurable with in c/[email protected]

Hi, Justine. Yes, the private messages tab (the padlock one) in Mastodon client apps like Tusky does not work (yet).

Look at how @mikedev designed `events` in ! I would *love* to see this implemented in other software. @julian have you thought about how @nodebb would display an #ActivityPub event yet? Does in c/[email protected]

I've just added some very basic support for this type (basically, not dropping them and showing them as if they were regular posts, with a mark to note that they are events). I understand that what make this type interesting is adding the possibility to add actions like intention to attend and such, but I will also wait for standardization.
