Well Beehaw doesn't allow custom communities (and also blocks you if you're from different instances), so you shouldn't use Beehaw.

As for your community, I can't access it by entering https://burggit.moe/c/[email protected]

Is it perhaps an option you missed in your community settings? Maybe it needs time to update? No clue.

If you want to not miss anything, switch from Subscribed to All. Also, check if your instance blocks any others by scrolling down to the bottom of the page and clicking Instances.

Blocking decentralisation doesn't help though, which is what beehaw does.

Just be aware that beehaw has super mods who can and will ban you for any reason. And that you won't be seeing the full discourse of the fediverse, like this comment.
