Ive been using Sync for 2h now and its just perfect. As already said I havent really used it a lot but until noa everything was great.

The only thing that I immediately saw and changed was teh font size. On default it was on "smaller" and I changed it to "normal" so I could also read the comment, because on smaller it was really small.

Also the price is totally ok on my perspective, you put in the work and make it even opptional so we can use it for free.

Overall the UI is glorious and for my preferences even better then reddits ones.

The last thing i bougth around 100€ was a portable SSD, its quit useful for backups and saving big files.

Also SSD prices has fallen in the last minths so you can get a 2TB SSD around 100 and an SSD Encloser for 15€ and your good to go.

PS: Pls, always have backup of your stuff. PLS

I just installed it and I really like the UI/UX. Also if im always trying to use free and open source software sometimes it doesnt change anything if an app isnt open source.

And not just google stuff, the big companies are for sure in exchange so if you do something on instagram, google will know it for sure.

Therefor im trying to step away from google, here are my alternatives to the google services:

Google drive -> Nextcloud Gmail -> Tutanota Youtube -> (im still using this) Maps -> Open Street Map Authenticator -> Aegis Chrome -> Librewolf/Firefox Passwords -> Bitwarden

(All of these alternatives are just my own preferences and what I daily use)
