it seems like it does but I didn't tested, there is a part of the install script that adds a handler for nexus links but I opted to not install that part.
I'm currently playing through fallout 4 with mods. the hardest part was figuring out how to install MO2 and make it recognize Fo4 on steam, I followed the guide here: https://github.com/rockerbacon/modorganizer2-linux-installer
after that, installing mods are the same as on windows.
yeah no, the oldest commit I could find is from 2003 but if you look at the first lines in the file its at least as old as 1994, probably older than that even.
yeah I agree its not the best specially if you are on a small instance, I have been using https://lemmyverse.net/communities to find new communites, there you can see total subscribers.

my /usr is 10G and /var is 5G, I would say check whats is consuming space on /usr and /var to make sure there isn't a problem, with that said I don't have separate partitions for for this exact reason, I only separate root from boot because I'm running full disk encryption.
