Can’t believe they were able to get away. Hope the police really throw all available resources into finding them.

I’ll sign up for modding if spots are still available.

Born and living in Florida most of my life it’s insane to me the direction the state is heading and fear what the next generation will have to endure and hope it motivates all voting age people to get out and vote.

I’m setting up my second pc as a server and going to give this a shot and see how it runs. Thanks for the write up!

As soon as Apollo stopped working, i deleted it and moved Memmy to Apollo’s spot. I will miss it and enjoyed the developers work on it but I’m done with Reddit unless my troubleshooting work points me there.

Normally I would get my news from Reddit but I have Apple News and that works fine for now while Lemmy ramps up.

I think there is gonna be some easy content as people get used to the federated communities. The reusing of community names l could get confusing, an example could be like like r/anime_titties. It could have very different content depending on who is running it.

Was scrolling TikTok while Reddit was protesting and came across a band named Arizona. Really enjoy listening to Dark Skies and they are normally the start of a listening session when I’m gaming.

Besides some of the outages I have experienced and getting used to the Memmy app, I am enjoying my time so far. I haven’t posted yet since I was more of a lurker on Reddit but that will change since I want to see this community succeed.

So how are they going to enforce this? The FTC says codifying rules can help it be much more efficient in court — but it isn’t actually getting any additional enforcement resources. It could also still face hurdles trying to go after offending businesses that are based overseas, if they’re in countries that don’t have a history of working with the FTC.

I started reading the article thinking how this was going to be detected or enforced but then they go on to say that it’s just “rules” and no additional resources for enforcement will actually be leveraged. At least the product swapping will be somewhat obvious if customers report it.
