Oh god... Rey and Kylo Ren are supposed to be the reincarnation of Anakin and Padme aren't they.

Lots of nice details in this… That nostril flare animation… the way the music immediately cut out when they reached the castle… all the camera focuses on the instructor’s stick but without any scenes of abuse… the lifeless, but not completely dead look in her eyes after the time skip…
I’m not sure how it will transition out of the prolog, but this episode could stand alone as a short.
Ah yes, the Maryest of Mary Sues, where everything he tries either succeeds (with some effort) or fails in a way that actually works out better. I don’t think I’ve ever come across a character with more luck and good fortune.
Wow, the first episode was solid. Love the quirky throwback vibe of the heroes, the mix of art styles, and it definitely left we looking forward to the next episode. I have no idea how they will make a coherent plot out of this, but hopefully it will at least be fun and creative.
Something is just not quite landing for me with this one. It feels like the knock off version of a better anime. I think maybe it is just trying too hard sort of like when someone tells a joke then keeps repeating the punchline hoping for more laughs but all that does is ruin the joke. Hopefully it will improve as the situation gets established and new characters show up. 2/5 for now.
I quite enjoy getting out of the office for an hour each day and fortunately have several places to eat within easy walking distance.
This picture represents everything i expect out of 2025...
My parent's house has a long, dark hallway (partially lit by night lights). My bedroom was near the end with my bed positioned so when going to sleep the last thing I would see was the door at the end of the hallway. Pareidolia being a thing, child me saw the gap under the door as a mouth with the door knob as an eye.
That door became the big bad of a long series of nightmares. I only remember bits of the dreams, but it was out to get me, with unknown creatures securing me to a gurney and rolling me down the hallway (now longer and lit by torches casting creepy shadows) to the door as a sacrifice... really weird, kid nightmare stuff. But what still creeps me out, decades later was the last dream about the door.
My parents had renovated the attic to form a new bedroom and storage closet. At last I would be moving away from the door. One of the last nights I slept in the old bedroom, I dreamed the door was lounging on the stairs, and the message was clear "I can get you up there".
My brother had a Buzz Lightyear toy. With the head sealed in a closed, unremovable dome, buttons to play catch phrases from the movie, and popout wings... not only would it randomly speak with no one around, but the head (sealed in plastic) slowly rotated over months to face backwards.
We took it apart, fixed the head, and weeks later it was backwards again... we threw it out.
I could maybe understand if the firetruck was responding you an emergency and time was critical, but I did not see that mentioned in the article
I loved D2 and yes D3. But 4... I've tried to play it twice and gave up. It is just such a giant expanse of soul sucking nothing that I've not been able to find any "fun" in the game.
