in some cities such as LA, i found it safest to simply drive at the same speed as everyone else. obviously adjust for merging, passenger lanes etc but on those roads being the slowest can actually a danger to yourself and others.

glad i don't need to do this any more in my current city, just two cents

exactly, not everyone has time to stop everything and watch a random 20 minute video from a thread based on essentially "trust me bro"

especially with a vague and borderline clickbait title. To prove a point, I'm going to watch it at some point and I can almost guarantee i can either summarise it or provide a synopsis.

There was a time when the Google apps just worked, the applications were optimised for UX. Maybe I've just only noticed it now but the directions (and assistant in general) aren't as useful, reliable, and filled with sponsored stuff.

what do you use for navigation and how does it compare?

My first thought was literally "man, what are they going to do when they run out of numbers?!"...

From what I can tell, this was a climate change protest in response to the 2020 bushfires in Aus. Looks likes that's scomo's face on the sign but could be wildly wrong.

edit: sorry wrong year

May be a minor bug but was a big fix for me! Thank you MV-GH and everyone involved for making this happening in a speedy manner :)

Only started running relatively recently so it's not first thing in the morning but it's a habit. I needed a way to "warm up" for the day and be physically active.

Aside from the general hype of "it feels great" "healthy" yada yada, it gets to a point where you feel uneasy not running. Like after training my legs, they want to go for a run and be used.

You need to account for having time (sleeping early and getting up early with naps during the day) and slowly conditioning but the most important thing is consistency. Only evaluating based on your previous efforts rather than comparing to others.

Fair point, I'm somewhat skeptical and don't want my favourite artists jumping from app to app (they already have to deal with so many platforms). I can see why so many moved to that platform since I'm unaware of any activitypub applications that protects against data harvesting. Personally, enjoying Cara far more than Instagram since I mainly used it to follow artists.

What I can readily see happening is when these "AI regulations" get introduced and Cara begins allowing AI-gen art on their platform, this will further divide and fragment. I hope I'm wrong.

I'm genuinely curious why? I read a little bit about Cara and sure it sounds nice but what's particularly stopping them from pulling the same move as Meta in the future?
