In Once the main character writes a song that the plot of the musical revolves around. Hadestown too has elements of this. Neither are 100% diagetic but feature songs which serve the story.

Aldens are pretty highly regarded for quality. People seem to like Grant Stone as well. I don't own either, but I have a couple pairs of Rancourt & Co and love them. A few years ago they were doing at cost sales of limited styles, so if you're in no hurry it might be worth getting on their mailing list and seeing if any more come up.
This isn't an unpopular opinion this is just something that you think that people don't like.
"Who called it the Guardian of Forever?"
"Well we don't know, actually. Academy scientists assume that it's some sort of life form that coalesced around the myriad beliefs of sentients regarding the understanding of time and adopted language to best fit their understanding."
"So it gave itself that nickname?"
"In a sense, yes."
"Like when me mate Paul had that ketamine and declared himself the Unstoppable Love God until the police wrestled him to the ground?"
"I... suppose you could say so."

I don't get it why would you staff a ship with a bunch of dilithium miners.
It was an easy recent favorite of mine after a playthrough. The atmosphere is so well done. It got me to finally play Alan Wake and I'll definitely pick up that sequel at some point too.
I got hooked on this one from Pedestrian at Best. That's a pretty unique track in her works with the punk shining through so heavily but I came to really enjoy the rest of the album. I'm a fan of her lyrical style and I like to describe it as Shower Thoughts, The Music:
More people die on the road than they do in the ocean, Maybe we should mull over culling cars instead of sharks, Or just lock them up in parks where we can go and view them
(from Dead Fox)
I haven't loved her follow ups as much but she's still a fun presence in a playlist. Saw her a few times live and she puts on a very solid rock show.
Michters American is an excellent whiskey, especially at its price point. Love a cocktail that'll highlight the strength of the liquor without busying it up.
