There must always be as much profit as possible no matter who suffers*

I honestly don't get it. Why do prices have to go up even if wages don't? It seems like some people say that some kind of inflation is absolutely necessary no matter what.

One has nothing to do with the other. There's nothing wrong with those of similar age being in a relationship. Romeo and Juliet laws require the couple to be within three years of each other. That has nothing to do with 40 year old men creeping on teenage girls. This thread is insane and really shows the demographics of Lemmy.

1/3 women are sexually harassed in their lifetime. Women have posted their stories about being sexually harassed more frequently as a young teenager than an adult. I personally have been groped and propositioned for prostitution while I was walking down the street in broad daylight. Not to mention the numerous cat calls. Everything stopped the moment I no longer looked like a child. This is what the post is about. Not consensual relationships.

What you're talking about is roleplay...

I hope there's enough empathetic people about to see through their nonsense so we can get everyone they help they need.

Wow that's cruel. Someone's cat gets loose, they can't find it yet, and you think it should be killed. Good job killing Fluffy because he escaped.

Declawing is cruel. It's basically cutting off your first knuckle.

Ah yes, no one ever changes over time and no one's views have ever updated over the years. Never.

This was 50 years ago. I've changed my opinions on a lot of things and I'm 33. I really hope I don't have all the same positions on every single thing for the next 50 years or I'll likely be left behind.

I agree with you. Hayley worries me more and I think any Republican candidate will put project 2025 into action. I think Hayley will disarm a lot of worries specifically because she's not Trump, female, and people will vote for her partly to have the first female president. If she ends up being the nominee, the new nonsense against Biden will be about him being sexist which at least some people will fall for.

Affirmative Asylum Processing with USCIS

To obtain asylum through the affirmative asylum process you must be physically present in the United States. You may apply for asylum regardless of how you arrived in the United States or your current immigration status.

“I did thousands of ultrasounds on animals, determining pregnancy and that sort of thing” Kitchens ascertained. “I think I know mammalian fetal development better than probably anyone here. And in my mind, there’s absolutely no question that’s a life.”

Wtaf. I guess being a vet made this guy god and let him decide that pregnancy is no longer dangerous and never could need to be ended for any reason whatsoever. 🙄

You're right, they won't remember. People have already forgotten how much Republicans refuse every single thing Biden has tried to do and act like Biden didn't even try at all. These people also ignore what he didn't accomplish and down vote me when I bring it up.
