What about neither and tailscale (free) on all your devices? Or are you often phoning home on outside devices?

I personally bought a domain name (namecheap) for my vps. Then I set up ddclient on my home pc to fetch my external IP every so often and update namecheap. But I didn't feel it was secure enough. Tailscale is easier, and i feel like it adds a layer of security.

If you are still dual booting, btrfs has a very good windows driver. Btrfs is newer and only recently started becoming the default on a couple mainline OSes. Ext4 has been around forever and is assumed to be much more stable.

Fwiw, I've been using btrfs for the last 18 months or so without any issue. I don't use any of the tools. There's no obvious or immediate performance difference like there was in the old days. We're all on SSDs now and they're fast no matter what.

They were amazing. The family, including my very picky 5 year old, loved it.

I have a weber smokey mountain. I consider it a proper smoker, but it's not an offset or super fancy pro setup.

Nothing special or pro. I have a well used fb marketplace wsm 18". I keep it simple with Kingsford blue and whatever wood chunks go with the meat. I did Applewood with this chicken.

I smoked a bunch of boneless, skinless chicken thighs. They're quick, easy and versatile. I do a 1 hour wet brine and lightly rub with whatever I have on hand. I don't sauce, spray or even look at them until the temp probe says 170.

I've been shredding them and serving with white sauce, but they'd work just as well serving whole with sweet baby ray's.

The sauce (not pictured):

And guess what is on back order at every nearby pharmacy? I'll give you a hint: it's not the $300 per month name brand.

So I guess I switch to Adderall xr tomorrow?

I finally found a use for an underpowered sbc I bought during the pandemic. I put Debian base, lightdm and sugar on it. It was a fun project for me. Hopefully it introduces a lifelong love of computers.

She already had a text to speech robot saying things like poopy, fart, butt stink and fire in the hole. The apple doesn't fall too far from the dingleberry.

The oreo was delicious as you'd expect. The brownie bite was like hot brownie batter coated in pancake, powdered sugar and caramel sauce. I will absolutely do that again.

Mistakes were made, but it's nothing tums and laying down can't fix.
