Just because you believe that a negligible effect means that it shouldn't be called orbiting doesn't change the fact of the matter that there is still a shared gravitational center that both bodies orbit around...

It doesn't matter if it's negligible or not, the fact of the matter is that such a point exists and both bodies orbit around that point.

What are you talking about pretty much any bank can cash a check....?

You say it doesn't work that way yet this person's entire career is one that proves that these systems don't work.

He has largely been immune from consequence and until this actually starts to show teeth then it's just more of the same.

There's no pressure until these things prove that they actually have teeth.

He's literally went his entire life threatened with punishments that have never been received. I don't even believe it's going to happen until it happens given what we've witnessed thus far

Yeah but that's not the point of the comment you're replying to, which is stating a simple fact that is unchanged despite your argument.

I feel like I'm going crazy since we kept preaching for years that this is the end goal and that this is what will happen with Google's anti-competitive practices. Just get shit on in the comment threads until recently.

It's not even a feel good I told you so because this just sucks.

Given Google and YouTube's history of intentionally and maliciously disrupting other browsers that aren't chrome, it'll be a safe bet that it's intentional.

Time to sail the high seas.

To be fair that is perfectly valid and benign data to collect to determine what demographics use your service.

I'm sure this is going to be controversial on here though but when you build a service or a device it's usually pretty valuable to know who uses it in order to determine what features to work on next or how to change it.

Of course the ability for them to abuse it is quite high and it would be difficult to trust them not to transmit more information than they're supposed to

Except that any two gravitational bodies orbit a common center...

The Earth orbiting the Sun causes the sun to wobble slightly, moving its orbital center away from its center of mass, which means the sun and earth actually orbit a common center point no?

Even if that center point is within the other body it still isn't the center of that body, therefore they both orbit a shared gravitational center that is not the center of either body.
