While I didn't care much for "Rebel Moon", this blog post from a graphics designer who worked on the movie details the meticulous process of designing the fonts and typefaces to reflect the different aspects of its world.

 

A new report reveals that the world’s largest publisher may be selling readers’ intimate personal data to the highest bidder.

 

The style is reminiscent of 1970s science fiction, with gargantuan machines over strange alien worlds. Details are fantastic, as is the sense of scale.

If you liked Annihilation, give Roadside Picnic a try.

Also I have a feeling you might be looking for a more literary style, so I recommend Robert Silverberg as a start.

Amazon Fire tablets have a decent screen. Can't say much for the ecosystem or the app store, but if you're mainly using it for comics, it's workable.

I drink it straight. After brewing I transfer it to a teapot. 500ml is enough to last me the morning and early part of the afternoon.

I make it in a French press. Dark roast, 30g per 500ml lukewarm water. Stir for uniform consistency. Refrigerate overnight (10 hours or so), enjoy in the morning!

This is the type of movement I've been looking forward to. I still visit Reddit but not for Reddit's sake. I go for the high quality subs with tight moderation and good content that are still on Reddit. Once they move out, there's no reason to stay on.

Hashtags are your friend. It also helps if you have some active posters for the tag. I get good content from following #sciencefiction #coffee and #python.

Five years is too generous, I think. At the end of the day, Reddit is just a forum and forums aren't profitable. Unlike the time of the Digg migration, the technology and platform have been commoditized.
