Honestly assigning a label to users that everyone can see based on other users' opinions seems like a bad idea anyway you put it. Independent of it's intention, it can stifle constructive arguments, encourage mass alt accounts, cause classism and mobbing. There is a Black Mirror episode with this exact premise where it impacts your real life reputation, people's perceptions of you & what you're allowed to do.

Not an actual filibuster - but Pelosi's record setting 8h+ speech for children of undocumented immigrants was super impressive. (Doesn't make up for other things, but gotta give credit when credit is due.)

Yeah - it wouldn't be surprising if in a lot of settings for the 4 days to have crazy hours from what is published about the work culture.

Do you have a source? I couldn't find anything about the situation outside of middle eastern news sites talking about Germany being in the wrong side of history & backlash because of the video.

I don't understand people down voting this. I'm with you - I am pro-Palestine, condemn the war crimes being committed by Israel, and recognize the pro-Israel political bias in several western countries.

With that said, this video provides 0 information on what is happening and why. I understand the bad optics of the video with multiple cops chasing a small child & him being placed in a van, but there is no indication as to why this was happening. The cops seemed professional, they were not physical with the child or protesters chucking stuff at them.

If you try to find any information about what happened in English - all you can find are middle eastern based news sites pushing a backlash narrative, without any evidence of backlash outside YouTube comments, Reddit & now here.

There is definitely an issue with pro-Israel bias in Germany because of their history, there is definitely an anti-Muslim sentiment among the right leaning population in Germany (as in many other European countries due to the perception and challenges of immigration.) But with that said - there is no reason to think the police are doing anything wrong here without some context.
