You're 100% right. When Hyundai announced a 5K rebate on the IONIQ6 to undercut a base Tesla, I priced one out given the rebate and an attractive 1.49% APR on 60 months. It was still $600 a month! I technically have the ability to afford that but it would stress my budget to a level that I'm not willing to do. I have a heavy commute and the ability to charge at home so it makes a ton of sense for me....but they are just too expensive right now.
Overall I am pretty intrigued by this Buick offering. The styling is different, the car is not bloated or over-complicated, and the pricing is incredibly appealing compared to most new vehicles coming to the market right now. I think it's interesting and commendable that Buick went downmarket when everyone else is trying to pump out 50k SUVs.
I don't think the fediverse has a realistic shot of breaking into the mainstream. However, I DO believe it has an outside chance of building up enough of a userbase to become a viable reddit alternative for me.
You could put this in the parenting community and get even more positive feedback, lol
The content here feels much better than other alternatives. Squabbles is stale by the end of the day (smaller userbase) and discuit is painfully quiet. It's not perfect, but the content here actually helps me to tolerate the server growing pains
This is a tough one. Is it better to know about an incurable disease seven years later if you can't prevent the progression of symptoms? Amazing study though.
This makes sense and I hate it
This is a good community idea. Is this a common acronym? Otherwise, how will folks find this community outside of this post?
The legacy of trump will not be his shenanigans, mostly. It will be the packed and young conservative supreme court and how they reshape this country.
That's what mine looks like. USA, Pennsylvania
This army is a telenovela.
This is a good sign. Manheim Auto Index shows the same (not sure if Cox and Manheim are connected). However, I am pessimistic about just how long dealers will be willing to stick to the current pricing model. I think even if we see the economic landscape shifting now, it could be upwards of a year before we start seeing meaningful decreases in the Used Car market. Consumer sentiment often does not react as quickly as the underlying economics.
