Tbf the only Android TV app I've used which is actually usable and has not-shit UX is SmartTube. Discovery Plus deserves a special place in hell.

I'm guessing the problem with revanced is the sheer number of projects calling themselves revanced, most of which are probably just malware.
That works. Until you get a cramp in the opposite direction and the same time. It's the 2nd closest experience to child birth I've had. The closest is a cramp stretching from the inside of my foot, up the outside of my thigh, up my back. Nothing but death seems to help.
Definitely fuck them. The largest pro-privacy, entity really, ISP in Sweden had them sued for copyright trolling. I believe that Elsevier in response blocked any Bahnhof-customers. Bahnhof blocked Elsevier traffic with this tenner: http://elsevier.bahnhof.se/.
This was a big deal when working there because Bahnhof had a track record of not honoring requests to give out personal info or blocking any sites. The CEO also secretly recorded the FRA, our equivalent to the NSA, as they were trying to make a deal under the table to be able to spy on customers. There's even a video recreation (the server he's holding used to host Wikileaks)!

Not only do they force you to use the App Store, developing an app for iOS is a nightmare. Without special tools you must have a mac and a $100/yr apple developer license.

Is it "Emacs pinky" possibly? Emacs is an editor with hotkeys for just about everything and a lot are based on CTRL.
I've gotten used to using an Emacs layout and eventually my pinky started to ache too bad so I remapped caps lock to be control and everything is much more comfortable now.
Yeah, you hit the nail on the head. I'm getting pretty tired of all the recommendations of videos with 8 views next to "real" videos. I'm most definitely not getting any recommendations to large corpo channels, other than the ones I actually enjoy (Mythical Kitchen is probably the most corpo channel I enjoy).
Shorts can go to hell, but they're very easy to avoid as you say.
