I'd definitely recommend them, though sometimes you'll need to power through some dry bits. All the 90's trek started out rough and only got better.

It's not hard sci-fi, so the technology sometimes works the way the story needs it to work, but generally it's pretty consistent.

That's a really cool theory, probably the best I've heard! It's established that there is a limited range, and that transporting during warp is possible, but extremely difficult, have to match the other ships exact speed etc., though they technically aren't traveling faster than light but existing within a warp bubble.

You can also use emojis in computer and user names in active directory. Trust me, the network guys love it!

I managed to make it work by setting the flashlight to a high speed strobe. Makes sense.

Did some digging and the full name is "Colossal Cave Adventure", though was commonly just called "Adventure"
Was the first well-known game of that type.

Fjær og blekk funker jo, så hvorfor bytte det ut?

I was looking at this link which mentions no smiling and hair away from the face and forehead, but yeah yours is probably more accurate.

My daughter has a similar hair style and for her Norwegian passport she had to tie the bangs with a hair clip before they accepted it. Somehow I would have thought Japan would be just as strict.

Men ja det kan tenkes at de ikke kom helt overens.

It's cool how most here seem to be older, I was almost expecting people to name drop Skyrim and make me feel like a dinosaur lol.

I used to love the text-based adventures, like "Adventure" and I believe one was called "Humbug". Even learned C programming at a young age in an attempt to make my own.

Enjoyed the Hugo trilogy too. Wasn't a big fan of side-scroller games but I fondly remember Secret Agent, Duke Nukem I+II and Commander Keen.

My real love was RPGs, specifically Ultima VII.

I like to say that I used to live there, in Britannia. I don't think I even completed the main quest until replaying it later on, there was just so much else to do! Truly mind-blowing for it's time.
