It’s easier than ever to never play a AAA game. The trend of launching games on broken promises with 14 prompts to spend money before you even reach the main menu is getting old.

I thought this meant on top of Premium and I was about to be pissed.

But honestly, Spotify is one of the only companies where I don’t feel like my experience has gotten noticeably worse over my time using it.

Do you think I can just pull up to a kidnapping not prepped with the right music? I’d get kidnapped too.

I just read the best book, you should check it out. Credit to the author of it.

I don’t run Adblock because I hate brands, I use it because the internet is more invasive by the day.

If one day I go to put on my shirt and another company sewed their logo over the neck hole, well then we’ll have a similar issue.

The only absolute with these devices is that you don’t get what you pay for. Inevitably it will completely change without your consent, and generally it will deliberately be for a worse experience since you’re captive.

I am so sick of the new age of zero ownership or protections. Instead of greedy companies losing customers, other companies just see it like “oh shit we can do that too?” and consumers are the only ones losing.

That’s the hilarious(ly depressing) thing about buying a digital movie, for example, to me.

If you rent it, you get it for a certain amount of time.

If you ‘buy’ it, you also rent it, just for an undisclosed amount of time that they may or may not retroactively take away from you at any point with no warning or compensation.

Clicking an image on Twitter and it actually being an external link was the last thing I ever did on that platform.

My car battery went dead the day before the time change. I was so close.

My usage dropped for a while, but it’s the only ‘social media’ that doesn’t actively leave me feeling worse about the platform and the world after using it.
