The hope I have is that some blue states have the ability to because of how much money they generate. If California tells the feds to fuck off we might have a standoff. The outcome will still be catastrophic but in a less Hand Maids Tale way

I’m really really hoping state governments don’t do the same
I minored in Film Studies in college and never had a problem, these days its a lot more difficult, cant decide if my symptoms changed over the course of 15 years or if its the advent of smart phones and growth of the internet over that time.
