I think you're confusing the original Metroid with Super Metroid. In the original, she bursts into particle effects upon death. Effectively yes. The SCOTUS has been hard at work over the past few months dismantling government checks and balances. They've ruled that politicians can throw out rulings from experts, take bribes without consequence, and attempt to overthrow the results of an election.
Lots of people in this thread are asking why this would pertain to the case since it was only official acts that were covered in the Supreme Court ruling.

This movie sadly bombed at the box office, but is in my opinion a near-perfect fantasy adventure flick that strikes a really good balance of narrative and comedy, and respects the source material without making it a prerequisite for enjoyment. I'd put it up there with "The Princess Bride" and I wouldn't be surprised if it gets a similar cult appreciation in the future.
