It was! Just beat the true boss and got all the powerups. I don't think I'll do all the arena stuff, but it was super worth playing, especially for the price.

It's a known bug on mobile. You need to return to the main menu, then you can continue your run.
You can't really deselect it on mobile since you're not supposed to be able to select them like this in the first place, afaik.
I don't know about that - I had my roof replaced (by insurance thankfully) about a year ago, and it was ~26k. HVAC out of pocket a couple years ago was about 15k. Not fun!
