It's a form of refusing to accept my gender as I say it. You're welcome to it, I won't seek to have you arrested for it or anything but if you call all cis people by their gender and all trans people by the neutral I will choose to not interact with you as possible because you aren't acknowledging my gender

Let me guess, Josephus? He attested that there was a cult following a man named Jesus of Nazareth. It is absolutely not widely regarded that the gospels are historical documents unless you mean in the same way that the aeneid and odyssey are. The synoptics and john aren't even in full agreement.

The old testament is less accurate, but has some more interesting scholarship.

I sincerely encourage that you actually read some secular scholarship on these topics. Roman Judea was a backwater on the edge of an empire in absolute disarray (the claimed lifetime of Jesus means he was born a subject of rhe Roman republic and preached and died a subject of Augustus). Furthermore ancient Canaan was a backwater of Egypt and Babylon that plays a very different role in each society's histories. And don't forget to look at the recordings of non Israelite canaanites (and not just Samaritans).

That sounds like a lot of work that I'm sure they'll pretend to be getting around to eventually

Yeah that's the vibe I got. It implies he only eats white chocolate and prides himself on being a white belt in martial arts. He certainly would never allow his business to be in the black.

I'll disagree on that, but it's complicated. I'm a trans woman that's semi passing. When I'm dressed even remotely androgynous or if I haven't told a person irl that my pronouns are she/her, or even if I think they may have forgotten then I don't consider it misgendering. But sometimes people are clearly refusing to address me with feminine pronouns, despite me having told them several times, presenting myself femininely, and them correctly gendering the cis and cis passing women near me.

There are a few others. Many are somewhat historical from before the singular they was agreed as default

That's entirely fair. And if they make a more subtle humor then I'm here for it. I think the real comedic goal should be between 1 and 2. Cutting down on the toilet humor and going darker could mean they're headed in exactly the right place, but my fears are that they're going to overshoot and what I love about the series is that it's willing to be ridiculous and I'm so used to "darker" meaning either bigoted or humorless.

Yeah I'd give this as a prime example of a joke that belonged in containment. It's funny in trans spaces because it plays up internal stereotypes and feels like a comedic exaggeration of if not your friend group, one you know. But please for the love of all that's holy I don't want to see my brother in law asking me to explain this joke. And I really don't want bigots to see this and treat it as gospel instead of community teasing. I would honestly rather explain transgendercirclejerk posts from a decade ago to cis people, despite the fact that early in transition I was the person this post is joking about.

Frequently enough that there are jokes that the lady doth protest too much. He's "gone undercover as a trans woman" and causes scenes to prove honestly I don't even know what at least a handful of times

Yeah, bl2 aged shockingly well. It was weird and outdated after a few years but these days it's a cultural time capsule. It's fun and silly and feels in many ways like a play on its own time period.

I don't want edgy. I want woke space hicks fighting corporations

It was Sharrod Brown losing that made me realize I didn't belong in Ohio anymore.

But also graphics doesn't necessarily mean crazy 3d graphics, pick any game by supergiant and it's gorgeous with beautiful music and fun gameplay.

Know what you're willing to invest in and make design choices to reflect that.
